On the occasion of Srila Gurudev's 101st Appearance Anniversary, I would like to say that by the grace of Gurudev, we can become simple-hearted, frank-hearted, we can become sincere, we can come to say from the heart and act from the heart in the service of Krishna, by Gurudev's grace. And though Gurudev is sometimes playing the pastime of illness, but that is only his lila. Actually, when we come to this sincerity by His grace, then Gurudev will reveal to us that He is not ordinary person, He is divine person, personal associate of Supreme Lord Sri Krishna, and it is by His grace that we can come to Golok, to the service of Radha-Krishna in Golok Vrindavan. It is by the grace of Gurudev. Hare Krishna. Jay Gurudev!

Once when we came to Kolkata, we saw Gurujī performing ecstatic kirtana while jumping high in the air. The Rain Stops for Him

Once we were in Dehradun and it started to rain heavily before nagara-saṅkīrtana was about to start. Gurujī came with Amarendra Prabhu under an umbrella. The hall was filled with devotees and the band was playing music. Many scattered because of the rain. but Gurujī called Śrīkanta Prabhu and asked him to sing the kirtana that began "kripa karo hum pe shyam sundara." After that, Gurujī sang "śrī-kṛṣṇa-caitanya prabhu-nityānanda śrī-advaita gadādhara śrīvāsādi-gaura-bhakta-vṛnda" and as soon as he started singing "Nitai Gauranga," the rain stopped. The sky became clear and the sun was seen. Then all the devotees went for nagara-saṅkīrtana started. His Lessons in Identifying an Imitation Sadhu

Once during Harikatha, Srila Gurudev narrated his own experience from a long time ago.  H e was in Agra with the prachar party. He explained that sometimes they did kirtan in a park near Taj Mahal. Usually when in Agra, Guru Maharaj and the devotees were welcomed by Matura Prasad Agrawal. He was a wealthy gentleman who owned oil mills. He had a lot of faith in Guru Maharaj and extended an open invitation to visit his house for Harikatha and kirtan anytime.   On this particular occasion, Guru Maharaj went to Agra without informing Matura Prasad. When he reached his home, he saw four babajis doing kirtan. Without making his presence known, he left. He went back to the prachar party and told them to put their luggage on a horse cart and go to a dharmsala.
