101st Vyasa-puja Offering from Ananga Manjari Dasi

Dear Srila Gurudev,

What would I say to You if I could be near You right now? The same thing I have always said: take me with You. I want to be in Your association forever, to listen to the nectarian, sweet hari-katha from Your Lotus Lips, and to serve You in all possible and impossible ways. I want You to be Happy!

In my life, I have never met anyone closer and dearer to my soul. You are like a kind of magician; wherever Your gaze falls, whatever You touch—everything blossoms and becomes fragrant. You bring only unconditional Love, tenderness, and infinite kindness. My soul cannot forget this experience and searches for something similar everywhere. But in this world, there is nothing that can compare to Your presence.

Only in kirtan, in the chanting of the Holy Names of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna in the association of devotees, does my heart find peace. The moment I sincerely begin to chant—You come. I can feel it… There is no greater Gift than this—the Maha-mantra!

This Gift was brought to the world by Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu—the dancing Incarnation of Love of Radha and Krishna. And in my life, it was brought by You. It is the highest, most beautiful, and most tender—everything the soul truly needs is the Holy Name of the Lord. The Holy Name is the thread that connects my soul to You and to Your Divine Realm.

I deeply desire to be in Your association always. Before, I dreamed of going to India to have Your darshan. But now I long for that realm where You truly reside, where You have come from, and where You are calling my soul. I constantly feel this call as if an unknown force is pulling me there, and I can neither resist nor desire anything else.

I am infinitely grateful to You for all Your mercy and for the fact that You were in my life. I am incapable of fully realizing and appreciating this gift. You have opened a door for me to a beautiful world, and now I can no longer live as before. Even if I stumble and fall on this path, I rise again. And even if I have to crawl, I continue moving toward You. I know that You are leading me and will never let go of my hand.

I want to serve You with everything I have. I want to be like Your faithful dog. I want the whole world to know of Your glory! May my thoughts, desires, and actions bloom like beautiful flowers so that I can continuously offer them at Your Lotus Feet.

Jai Gurudev! I long for uninterrupted Service to You!

Once during Harikatha, Srila Gurudev narrated his own experience from a long time ago.  H e was in Agra with the prachar party. He explained that sometimes they did kirtan in a park near Taj Mahal. Usually when in Agra, Guru Maharaj and the devotees were welcomed by Matura Prasad Agrawal. He was a wealthy gentleman who owned oil mills. He had a lot of faith in Guru Maharaj and extended an open invitation to visit his house for Harikatha and kirtan anytime.   On this particular occasion, Guru Maharaj went to Agra without informing Matura Prasad. When he reached his home, he saw four babajis doing kirtan. Without making his presence known, he left. He went back to the prachar party and told them to put their luggage on a horse cart and go to a dharmsala.
